Institute of Mennonite Studies (IMS): Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary (AMBS)

The Institute of Mennonite Studies is AMBS's primary avenue for research, conversation, and publication on topics vital to Mennonite and Anabaptist traditions, and of interest to the broader church.

The IMS Book Catalog (available to download on the website) contains annotated entries of all books published by the institute and details for purchasing. It also lists publications in each of the institute's major series including the Classics of the Radical Reformation series, Intercultural Biblical Hermeneutics series, Occasional Papers, Studies in Peace and Scripture series and the Text Reader series.

IMS also publishes Vision: A Journal for Church and Theology in conjunction with the Centre for Faith and Life at Canadian Mennonite University.

"IMS fosters scholarship for the church: research and writing that serve the church's perennial need for bold and rigorous reflection on Scripture, theology, history, and mission. Our publications and events help orient Christian leaders to God's reconciling mission in the world." — Jamie Pitts, Associate Professor of Anabaptist Studies; Director, Institute of Mennonite Studies
