Stories from the Red Tent: Sharing the Story, Celebrating the Mystery

I’m Amy Yoder McGloughlin, the pastor at Germantown Mennonite Church in Philadelphia, PA since June of 2010.

I’m an occasional writer on the Mennonite World Review blog and a monthly writer on Practicing Families, a blog about children, faith and liturgy.

I’m interested in how communities discern texts together, and the intersection of our story with the biblical stories. I aspire to write a book about it sometime

When I’m not getting geeked out about the Bible, writing, or going to church meetings, I’m in yoga or walking in the Wissahickon park, the world’s most wonderful urban park system (I’m blessed to live so close to it).

This blog is a written version of my sermons–which I think are pretty readable–along with other articles I write along the way.
