Called to be Bad: Podcast
What if the scandalous is spiritual, deviant is divine, and bad is beautiful? Welcome to Called to be Bad, a podcast where guests reveal a "bad" topic they are passionate about.
From an Anabaptist World article by Tim Huber:
- “Called to Be Bad” digs into the intersections of good and bad, pure and profane, holy and ordinary. Martin, pastor at Bonneyville Mennonite Church in Bristol, launched the podcast on March 8 [2022] with the first episodes of conversations she recorded with more than two dozen guests during the COVID pandemic.
Episodes feature seminary professors, pastors, denominational leaders and even normal people talking about things that make many people uncomfortable or could be seen as, well, strange.
Some guests: Allan Rudy Froese, Beth Allison Barr, Cyneatha Millsaps, Ian McPherson, Isaac Villegas, Joanne Gallardo, Melissa Florer-Bixler, Ted Swartz.
Some topics: ableism & accessibility, biblical womanhood, church decline, humour, music, money, language, peacemaking.
